Sacs are way way likelier to show up for investigations too. Also capturing seems to help.

if you’re doing online for nerg farming, you might consider making a shoutout specifically for “cut the tail!” Can’t guarantee your team will know english, but if some start in on it, the rest may follow suit.
Iunno if I’m willing to play with non sisbros bc anxiety
Tbf I could use the practice
Sorry our session dropped at the very end of taking down Nerg the Spikiest, we seemed moments away from the end then I just saw you and it freeze in place for like 10 seconds.
People have been complaining about the part break thresholds for multiplayer, so you might have better luck getting the tail in single player? IME with nerg I can usually get the tail off before he runs from the first arena in single player, but I’m lucky to get it at all in multiplayer if everyone is putting out good damage. Having a part break decoration seems to help, but I think those are pretty rare.
i ended up barely making it out of that one alive! when it happened i had to jam through like 3 menu prompts while dodging a nerg dive. got a tail carve out of that eventually tho. thank you for the assist! sorry that the session dropped!
i’m happy somebody knows how to use a bow cos i sure don’t
It’s me, I’m the one that completely forgot charge blade has a second charge level that I can sometimes initiate. Holy shit this changes things.
Tailrider Safaris are missions you can send palicos on, they cost research points and get you various loot depending which monsters the mission involves, you can send them from the bottom floor of the research base after you finish the quest to hunt Legiana and you can send them from your room at some point after that via your housekeeper.
my partner asked me to do something while i was finishing a quest and i responded with “sure, after i carve this lizard” so now this game is called Carvin’ The Lizard
Is anyone else holding out to run this on PC?
booo
I can’t justify a new console ever again okay
Yes
(The thought has crossed my mind to cash out my GPU and buy four PS4s for MH crew but fuck PS+.)
btw
(Not that I would really suggest dismantling your very good computer in favor of PS4, but in case those aren’t the stakes for everyone)
Also I think PS+ got me a discount on this game that offset like 1/2 or 1/4 the cost of the yearly subscription fwiw
I assume that means you can play solo but not online, which wouldn’t really appeal.
The shift from split-screen to online + fees made my family go to PC in 2013 and it’s real steep to go back.
Reminder that we’ve come a long way baby
Monster Hunter was a part of an initiative from Capcom’s Production Studio 1 to develop three network focused games on the PlayStation 2. The other games were Auto Modellista and Resident Evil Outbreak.[2] Capcom’s plan was that at least one of the games would sell a million copies. Both Monster Hunter and Resident Evil Outbreak eventually sold a million copies each.[3]
I do not understand, but I am grateful.
Not sure. @SageGrimm have you been playing online or off?
yeah i don’t know what’s up with it, but i definitely watched a buddy of mine play online multiplayer without ps+, and i thought sagegrimm did too, but when i google it around it’s mostly just people seeming confused about it. so i don’t know!
Once PC version comes out I will probably be jumping ship since I have other friends that are waiting for it there and want to join them. Hopefully any DLC will be caught up on release or be released concurrently with the PS4 version.
