I am still way early in the game. Should I be using my armor spheres or saving them for later gear?
You’re gonna get a lot of them, use em however you want.
Use them as you get them; you will get higher tier armor spheres for higher level armor as you get further through the game anyway

it was just supposed to be a simple paolumu hunt. I knew that there was an odogaron and a bazelgeuse on the map, but I didn’t expect all three monsters to get into a fight with each other for TWENTY MINUTES

yesterday i fought a legiana solo & a paolumu showed up to tussle with it. i hollered “fuck em up darryl” and kept shooting @ leggy
true to form I just pitifully disappointed the group that showed up to help me with my first attempt at nergigante BUT I’m at a point where I can run HR legiana or odogaron fairly trivially so I did that a couple times each and some Japanese people showed up and I think my armour should be better now
He ain’t no joke, that superman dive is terrifying. He could one-shot me until I started turning his elbows into armor.
yeah i had to panic dive that super slam to survive him my first time
me and @bib got double slam KO’d earlier by that attack, but I’m half happy we failed so I didn’t have to sit through another post-fight “item master” award for that fight.

I’m gonna give it another go at like 6 pst I think
once again gunlance is OP as hell, I can block all of his attacks without hitting zero stamina. the game is even nice enough to buffer my block so that if he follows up with a second hit and I’ve let go of the trigger, I’ll still deflect it (which has saved me on many occasions)
It’s kind of like some fighting games where if you are still in block stun and receive another attack you still block it even if you let go of the direction button. Be careful about that if Rajang ever makes it to the new world. He has a lot of rapid attack that love to tear through stamina and if you block once you are forced to block the rest so it’s important to keep your stam up and managed.
For context, Rajang is quite literally Goku right down to going Super Saiyan when he gets pissed.
