Cripes, I’m a couple years out of the habit of checking kotaku regularly but I just wound up there and they’re still on about front page Switch 2 announcement theorizing. Nintendo obviously wouldn’t announce upcoming hardware that’d undermine sales of the current stuff his Christmas—who is this stuff written for?

Apparently there are a lot of people out there who don’t understand that the main reason Nintendo announced the Switch 1 in October was because they knew they couldn’t convince anybody to get a Wii U for Christmas.

Does software backwards compatibility necessarily mean cartridge backwards compatibility though? They could still screw this up.
