the aggro framing here is so funny. we’ve finally found the holy grail of games criticism: a way to emotionally imprint on press releases, but from the left this time.

Lot of interesting stuff in it, including meeting notes?? Surprising how much stuff they just had archived like that.

I was trying to figure out why I got a notification from the App Store, then I saw an icon that said Wiz ᴅaphne. Of course…the new free to play Japanese Wizardry game in English WIZARDRY VARIANTS ᴅAPHNE finally came out. A name too powerful for selectbutton’s word filters.

Dino Crisis is on PSN now so if you bought it 10 years ago you can download it on your PS4/5 play it for 30 minutes and go “this is not as good as Resident Evil, and the puzzles suck.” EDIT: I guess I do not have access to Dino Crisis.

Also Siren PS2 is on JPSN but uh, is quite large. I was excited to finally play Siren with a Japanese dub. EDIT: I do have access to a new 30 gig PS5 version of Siren.

I love this idea

Also how did they get the Dragon Half mangaka to work on it??

dragon half is his most famous work and it’s over 30 years old

I tried the demo for this and while the individual rooms themselves seem designed well enough I can’t for the love of me figure out what the events in-between rooms actually do besides provide flavor. I died to different traps in three straight of them but even though at one point the game waved at the lives or hearts meaning something it didn’t seem to ever do so, at least not in the demo itself.
