wooting 60he got here finally, it’s sooooo nice, super responsive and comes with all the switches lubed by stock. really smooth linear feeling keyboard, great software as well
here’s my wootility setup for csgo. rapid trigger on my left/right strafing keys, my movement in game feels sooo clean. customizable per-key actuation height is sick
lesbian flag color scheme for typing, experimenting with optimal actuation height, i think like 1-1.3mm
really really really like this keyboard, feels premium af

help i’m falling down the rabbit hole of keyboard layouts
been using dvorak for 15+ years but the kids on the internet are saying a lot of good stuff about Colemak-DH or MTGAP, maybe i’ll give em a roll. i’m tying 85 wpm ish rn but ya never know stuff could always be improved

i’ve tried dvorak and colemak and iirc got to around 80 wpm on colemak with keybr.com but i never noticed obvious improvements to comfort or speed like i did with split/ortho layouts that use the thumb better
85 wpm is fast enough for anyone who isn’t a stenographer but have fun!

ya it’s mostly a comfort thing, the faster my max speed the more comfortably i can transcribe meeting notes which i do semi-regularly

Does anyone know of a place to buy key caps that have both dvorak and qwerty key codes on them? I use dvorak but it is sometimes useful to have qwerty on the keys as well.
I guess it is possible to create custom key caps graphics but I have very little patience for that sort of thing, so it’d be nice to have something premade.

i’ve never seen caps with both legends but a lot of dvorak/colemak people like uniform profiles like dsa/xda so they can just move them around without worry about row heights

yea i was never able to find good dvorak keycaps, like they come in some group buy sets but never exactly the type i want

I have never tried changing my keyboard layout but to me anyone who can actually adopt and test multiple different layouts and swap between them to evaluate for feel must have a brain bigger than the Milky Way. Even if they are not physically testing 100 layouts or whatever, that is absolutely incredible
