methods of input (Part 2)

That Mayflash stick advertises itself as compatible with Sanwa parts. My own PS3/PS4 Hori RAPV 2017 came with Hori’s imitation “Hayabusa” lever & buttons–as I think all their sticks do, now; I swapped them for Sanwas.

IMO a Hitbox or Hitbox clone since it’s more precise, and about as easy to learn as a stick if you’ve never used either.

truly terrible news:

The main takeaway I had is Leopold has decided to go with Cherry MX for all its mechanical keyboards and there will be fewer Topre keyboards going forward

framemeister

Micomsoft Framemeister XRGB-mini remote control–input to a thing that does output.

Somewhat inconveniently, its Confirm button sends the same signal as the Power button for my REI HDMI switch, sitting on top of the mini. ; )

Had to bust out the giganto remote after all these years 'cause the stiff plastic buttons on the top front of the mini have finally started getting really unresponsive.

Racing Wheel (Dreamcast)

Small turning angle and really springy! : D Didn’t feel like a real steering wheel at all but it also didn’t feel like that was the point. Worked darn well for most of the racing games I tried on the DC except for that time the demo car in F355 Challenge drove off the course as soon as I plugged the wheel in.

I tended to pinch my fingers in the weird pinch-grooved backs of the paddle shifters–or wait was it their plastic seam edges (the razor sharpness wore down eventually), which I nevertheless thought were neat.

Baws: Guys! I like peaches.

Hardware team: Sure, boss! Peaches are great.

Baws: I like sunshine.

Hardware team: …

BAws: I like the blue sea at the beach.

Hardware team: *sigh* Yes, sir.

if you go to target they have a display with OPI nail polish that matches these which honestly appeals if i hadn’t been let down by the OPI halo nail polish (nice color, bad polish)

I say this whenever I see a piece of opaque plastic.

The yellow N64 controller was my favorite even though green was an option and is my favorite color

That’s shockingly close to the color scheme of my custom xbone controller.

It’s me, the guy who does not like yellow and also loathes translucent plastic for electronics
