8bitdo pro2 first impressions very positive, gonna need to train myself not to hit that right paddle so much

I’m probably the only person on the planet who fell in love with the 8bitdo Lite, but it’s getting an update.
Instead of the Virtual Boy style dual d-pads, it’s getting analog sticks and the remaining d-pad is a Switch style four separate button affair, which kills the appeal for me. But moving all the shoulder buttons and clicky sticks to face buttons and emphasizing the accessibility aspect seems like a good move if it ends up being cozy enough to use.
My only beef with the original Lite was that the clicky d-pads they had to trigger R3 and L3 were nearly impossible to hit without also registering a direction. So trying to map them for my Retropie was like playing Operation.

Oh that’s pretty cool. I only saw this one get announced, which is tempting (I like the Lite, but never found a good use case for the D-Pads 
)

As a 5-year-old I used to love pressing and releasing the button to advance the conveyor belt at the grocery store cash register, enjoying the start-stop motion and the feeling of control. These buttons don’t seem to exist anymore as the belts got more automated, but back in the 80s they had nice big circular blue buttons on the customer side, at a height at eye level with a child.
At one point my mom got very annoyed with me and told me that this particular button connects all the way to the molten core of the Earth and if I press it too much, eventually the planet will explode. Even at that age I didn’t fully believe that, but I was spooked enough that I never forgot

If those are 3DS-style slide pads 
what are some good ergonomiv mice and keyboards? also cheap if possible. my thumbs and wrists have been getting very sore and ouchy, like ive pulled muscles or something, prolly from bad hand posture and lots of time with my phone and at the computer

Best lower cost ones are the Microsoft ergo/sculpt and the Anker vertical mice
