Interrupting the current SF6 news cycle:

A gacha game I never heard of until now has decided to make a SRW fightmans?

Looks like a suitable party fighter at first glance. Hope it has rollback. Thinking how in another reality this would be a cygames game and could afford to get arcsys on this and maybe make it a real-er game but it wouldn’t even have to be the 3D anime and just lean into the history of amazing SRW sprite work and animations.

Iron Saga has had a lot of anime collaboration events so it makes sense they have the relationships to keep those going for other projects. I played that game during some anime-tie in event (can’t remember which one), and I think because they knew anybody joining the during that period was interested in the collab event, it skips the game’s introductory story and puts you directly into the collaboration event. But I consequently understood absolutely nothing about the game’s story because it made me skip all the setup.

A few days ago someone offhandedly said “The MK Fatality should just be what happens when you finish a match with a super” and now it’s the only thing I can think about when MK is mentioned.

yeah i liked violence in MK games when it resembled a middle schooler’s notebook. now that it has achieved this level of fidelity, i don’t find it charming

also youtube is wrong: honda is absolutely NOT some op top tier. he has many, many, many weaknesses.
