I always like alan wake at the start but then it always gets way too tedious and I get annoyed, but when I first replayed it a while back I started with the american nightmare thing I hadn’t played before and that made me finally like the series more

it’s definitely a euroslutsaction movie in that no one could ever complain about the characters lacking motivation because it’s telegraphed in the most heavy handed ways

it’s also really funny to see the chief from Brooklyn 99 as a stone cold villain

I actually thought Alan Wake’s combat was excellent. I loved that every single weapon you got your hands on more or less had a slow rate of fire. Pump shotguns, bolt-action hunting rifles, revolvers, flare guns. It made the whole dance quite tense.

im mostly talking about variety here. the combat gets a lot more interesting with all the special taken types that show up in american nightmare. but also it was fun to have a bunch of other weapons to play with too, i remember liking the crossbow and nailgun a lot

i tried playing quantum break today and i got to the first TV episode and it turns out that xbox live is having trouble with downloading shit or streaming shit and it doesnt work, and NOW I HAVE TO STOP PLAYING WHEN IT WAS GETTING GOOD. its just like real TV this is bullshit
