SMRPG has my canon Bowser i love that when hes not the villain and cant kidnap Peach he’s reduced to a useless himbo
a couple of the later Mario RPGs revisit this version of king koopa and he’s always the best funniest character. i didnt finish Bowsers Inside Story but i should, it obviously has a lot of clumsy antihero Bowser

I said in the e3 thread that if nothing else, a full arrange of the SMRPG soundtrack justifies the remake’s existence on its own. Cuba posted a press X to doubt meme in response which is appropriately cynical but after listening to some of it

cubas literally always wrong unless it’s about a tactical shooter or a dad movie then he’s like wrong 50 percent of the time
the music is fine, it sounds like the old soundtrack yeah. curious to see if they un-annoying the level up / end of battle music
