Waingro: Puppy Days
technicolor is new zealand or fiji and la is a waystation to someplace else
there’s a 4k remastered version of heat on bluray now, but not out on an actual 4k uhd disc for some reason. it’d be cool if they cgi’d hanna’s gun into a walkie talkie so neil can blow him away and leave with eady at the end of this one
michael mann must of just watched logan
I went on the pilgrimage and saw heat on the big screen
For some reason on the 4k remaster breedan’s scream when he’s shot is now muted
neil mccauley put his getaway at hazard to go take out a serial killer of young black female sex workers, if anything there should be a memorial of him at that airport
blackhat director’s cut is going to air on fx tomorrow
“the plan to delay the emotional life he so desires — the Technicolor-Fiji ideal — till after he’s scored and splits”
heat remaster, blackhat dc, and twin peaks this month. a heap of bad shit must be coming my way to balance this out

You already took one of the best lines out of Heat you son of a
Guess it wouldn’t be a michael mann directors cut if he didn’t cut at least something I really liked. he cut out the part with dawai saying “I never seen her happier” in their helicopter talk. now instead of two grown adults talking it’s a little closer to being like every other “you’re boning my sister” movie talk scene. the soy hack at the beginning is much better though. I don’t think I’ve watched actual cable television since high school, the nonstop commercial interruptions were driving me nuts, I forgot about those. I would of just waited for somebody to upload the hdtv rip if I had any faith there’s anyone out there in that field who still gives a shit.
since the 4k remaster version of heat was put out on bluray by fox instead of warner bros does this mean disney owns heat now and if they ever put out a uhd bluray of it it’s going to have the disney logo
Just out of prison, he marvels at the flat expanse of an airport runway; he and Lien view Los Angeles from a vantage point before a romantic embrace; they find emotional refuge in a private plane as it soars into the sky after they go on the run; in the final shot they walk toward the camera until they escape the film entirely.
