I also heard that sentiment and I am sure it was amazing to be at the Dreamcast/PS2 launch but in 2005 most of the great PS2 games weren’t even out. Seeing the community of PSP/DS was fantastic, and as was the hey day of Street Fighter IV. This was also the explosion of Maid Cafes and Densha Otoko.
Gamepass is going up in price to $20/mo, oof
Way too many sleeves

EDIT:
They had to include the WTC because it was in the original 80s painting, but felt it was disrespectful without a reference to reality, resulting in the kind of self-contradiction that isn’t even out-of-place in a game about rarefying kitsch art
why’s it gotta look like that. those old games look so neat and the remakes are blaaaaaaand
what’s next? a Gumshoe remake/sequel?
I did a series of posting about the first remake starting here and man I hated that fucking thing and I’m a sucker for old adventure games.
Maybe I’d play the new one if I got it for free but I’d definitely complain the whole damn time.
« A new addition to the « Those games » series! »
I picked this up and so far I’d say the Pin Pull one is somehow more fun and more infuriating than the first game (the puzzles are a little better, but the timer only stops when the characters do their victory pose, so I’ve had a lot of clear 3 star wins that get knocked down to 2 because of it).
The number dungeon one is fun but the controls are tough. Like the last game, it’s probably better with touch controls.
And the drawing one…that one is pretty damn good…
I still really need to play the first one
Well, at least they want to make it appear as if it’ll be as difficult as Gimmick… that being said, large parts of this feel like it just wants to be a Kirby game (…much like a lot of other platformers…)
The games industry keeps trotting VR out there the way car companies keep fiddling with self-driving tech, in both cases in defiance of a general lack of consumer enthusiasm.
In this essay, I will
well, no
VR actually works
you can tell it works because it makes a segment of the population violently ill
I’m still sad the Cosmic Smash player character is no longer buff as hell
Shut up and take money, Sony… you will have sold one (1) game.
Was that worth it? ![]()
