this dev is definitely more guilty of making things that are complete incoherent messes more than anything else rather than like, lame things trying to go for wackier aesthetics which this might read as to some people. so was surprised to see it even show up on one of those streams tbh

it’s one of those where i can tell basically everything in the trailer has been choreographed explicitly for the trailer tho which tells me they probably have a long way to go still. lol

I guess I haven’t played a new fps in forever but that part where she’s jumping from balcony to balcony reminded me more of Turok 1 than Perfect Dark, and that’s not in a good way.

That Perfect Dark game looks pretty good imho. I mean it’s small comfort after MS shut down Arkane Austin but it looks pretty imsimmy and NOLFy!!

You were right watching that woman get tortured in the Diablo trailer was really fucking upsetting and it is so weird there are like zero standards for what is acceptable for a general audience.

yeah like i am not exactly squeamish at body horror or gore for these things generally at all but that one was weirdly intense/sure featured a lot of screaming
ironically the part in D4 where she gets her hand cut off is done in “cut to black before impact” style
