So all these are gonna be Edwin’s stretch jersey denim for ease of combat. Which are like 50% plastic.

Heck the original run might also have plastic in it I haven’t checked the tag.

Anyways will huff and puff and probably order Lucifel’s original model. The Great War (where Lucifiel betrays god and invades heaven) models don’t look like they have any particularly interesting detail on my phone at least.

This game looks cool. Not crazy about the furry OC character designs, but I’m very into the setting – inside the body of a giant space turtle.

Ok, I’m messing with the demo right now and the character you start with is actually kind of charming. The demo is compelling so far! The action is well tuned and the music’s nice.

Edit: I’m convinced, went ahead and bought it.

I never tried the demo (which is at least a year old) as I knew I was gonna give it a shot, but this is good to hear! There’s always the fear that someone just has one good idea/game in them, barring something unexpected I’ll probably start up myself within the next week or so.

I am sad to report El Shaddai is making NFTs that are also t-shirts. No I don’t entirely understand but the company making them is “not an ordinary NFT company” so eternal fart noise.

The real El Shaddsi starts here.

Not on console, they have a PC version you can subscribe to using the same virtual currency you can use with Bemani games in the arcade though

Hmmmm

Y’all, I’d love canonical parity as much as the next guy with Vivian, but there is no way this person actually works at Nintendo lol.

1.) This person has a single post on their IG that coyly alludes to getting a job at Nintendo, saying “see you at the treehouse,” which would be NoA’s localization wing, which has nothing to do with engineering.

2.) This person has “Environmental Engineer” on their socials listed as their job, which has nothing to do with Nintendo localization.

3.) NoA, save for very specific instances, never hires outside of Redmond, WA. There is no way someone in Decatur, IL is working a remote job at Nintendo and having this sort of swaying power on a controversial localization decision.

4.) This person is now posting screenshots shitting on trolls commenting on their post. There is no way someone who actively wanted to remain employed by a major company as conservative as Nintendo would do this.

Like, again, even as someone who loves the idea of Vivian’s story being kept inline with the original Japanese translation… this is so obviously fan fiction.

EDIT: Person’s IG is now private undoubtedly after people started calling their legitimacy into question (like noting that they photoshopped their name into the TOTK Product Tester credits). !DEBUNKED!

not very convincing evidence. people move, people keep inaccurate metadata on their profiles. and “localisation isn’t engineering, so” can get in the sea, what the fuck non sequitur is that, what other role could be more appropriate

Sorry folks, I was bamboozled, it was just some shithead making shit up.

I think if I play the Spanish language version, I’ll get an accurate portrayal. I’ll be sure to scout it out for everyone.

i’m always saying to myself, you know, i love spending time on LinkedIn, but what would really drive my engagement factor would be if I could play some video games while I was there, so that while partaking in all the amazing things LinkedIn has to offer its fans, I could also chill out from time to time and play some video games, and I was thinking that it was a shame that this wasn’t the world we lived in

God if I could Fight Club Project Mayhem the servers of just one website, that’d be the one.

facebook always felt like it was developed by people who had no idea what the average user did on facebook because no one who worked for the company actually used it outside of literally having to schedule your meetings and interact with your coworkers using the internal company facebook

linkedin feels equally clueless but it’s because the people who work on it use it so intensely and ferociously that they legitimately believe it’s somewhere that people with free time will actually want to be and not the unemployed but aspirational tech-adjacent pit of despair it actually is

It’s so fucking weird when coworkers talk about LinkedIn. I don’t think I’ve ever even considered making an account.

I’ve used mine to apply for jobs when I’m unemployed, but otherwise, I barely touch it.

But yeah, there are people who are on it all the time and that’s so weird.

I mostly use it so my mom doesn’t bug me about finding more film work. She’s 78 and doesn’t understand the nature of freelance film work being mostly referral and relationship based so I update it every couple of months. I stay off it as much as possible otherwise.
