I remember when someone tried to get me to play “Super Smash Bros.” I found the idea of it repulsive and played just one round before never touching it again.
(A lot of my friends are fans of those games and there’s nothing wrong with that. But mixing fictional universes isn’t for me.)

did i ever post here about being tasked with becoming a domain expert for the web3 game engine The Sandbox for the company i was working at a year ago
well it began with the “Made With Unity” logo and i got very upset and didn’t come out of being upset for like 6 months and then quit the job
i legit could not believe how limited the whole thing was and had a mini existential crisis when realizing that this was what so much money was being devoted to and something i’d have to participate in at the company during the whole time i was working there
