I guess bethesda is a no-brainer after that disaster last year. square on the off chance that they show video games could be something. I might be For Real interested in microsoft’s PC game pass thing, but I don’t really need a press conference for that.
Okay he has a damn droid on his back and he does a roll after doing a flip-jump how does that work? Also why doesn’t his lightsaber cut these stormtroopers to pieces? Why isn’t there a hole in that one stormtrooper he stabs?

I thought I saw some dismemberment at least when I was watched? Was actually surprised by how it wasn’t always a clean cut but sometimes torsos were sort of just half attached still.
Yeah that looks like it’s a thing. How powerful are lightsabers? I always had the impression that they could cut a person to bits really easily. Star Wars games with lightsaber action need to be like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and just cut through everything.
I just watched that one on one fight with the purple dude. Kind of Souls-ish I guess? The game will probably be okay but I hate that the lightsabers don’t actually cut anything and I really do not like seeing that droid climbing all over the guy I would not be able to deal with that in real life.

bonkers ruleset for a tournament (items on, stage morph, time matches, etc)
Was it pro players or just randos?
iirc they had open (?) qualifying tournaments for 4 different regions (US, JP, EU, and Australia/New Zealand), and the top three from each of those got put on teams for this event (though they just had 2v2s and 1v1s, no actual 3v3s). the participants were obviously skewed towards people who decided they would put up with the nonsensical rules, but nobody seemed grossly underskilled from what little i was acutally paying attention to.
the only name i recognized from this summary is zackray from japan, though i’m not an avid follower of competitive ultimate so idk
They should ban anyone who insists on no items and final destination from tournament play and from society in general.
Final Destination only hasn’t been in the ruleset for over a decade, and I think even then it was only Japan that had that rule.
As far as tournament play, yes I think that tournaments should be played in a ruleset that minimizes randomness. You can play casually however you want though idk?
