hello! i am adam, a long-time lurker, i used to hang out more in the old IRC channel than the forums, under the name ‘dicko’ v likely or possibly ‘angrygeometry’ both terrible internet usernames and this one isn’t too much better but at least more accurate. i have been checking in on threads here for a while and figured i should actually make an account and post sometimes and say hello!
i started my internet life at rpg maker forums and still hold great affection for rpg maker games, but have been working at a studio for 7/8 years in a bit of a daze, but since hitting my 30s i’ve been trying to be a bit more active and creative instead of finish work nap stare at wall repeat.
the more i type the more this is reading like other posts above me - is this the selectbutton effect??

hi all, figured this was a good place to start
to keep on being unoriginal, i’ve stumbled on this place a little while back, don’t know much about the forums or their history but it seems like a chill place so i thought i would create an account. i mostly play old games and newer things (on the switch and ps4, i’m always one or two gens behind usually) — also make music under this same name
