Impresarios of Mario Scenarios

Something I’ve noticed playing through the game is how few stages appear to be designed with the intention that they be played multiple times after they have been beaten, in non-speed-run contexts. Part of it is the structure of the game itself, and part of it is the language of Mario games–Decchan had made the contrast earlier about Sonic games vs. Mario games, which I feel rings true–and in any case, it’s an odd fit for the sort of stages I like to make, which are largely about trying to be fun to play in different ways.

I’m liking all the stages y’all have made! I’ve only being able to beat, like, half–almost exclusively VastleCania’s–but there’s a lot or really cool designs around.

Anyways, I made a new stage, “Top Plumb”, which is really two stages which might have been better separated, but that would have been far less fun for me.
