yeah tuesday morning

So are we using the discord now instead of the PSN chat? I only ask because like last couple things I said in ps4 chat were just met with silence.

I have no idea but I’m on the discord now. Most of you Americans’ messages come in when I’m asleep or can’t play, so I don’t reply, sorry booji

i’d like to join y’all. i can’t raid this weekend because i have family visiting but otherwise i can find time

If you (@physical), @Sakurina, and @rye wanna figure out a time next week, I will be there. I am unemployed right now for a few more weeks, so I got time.

I think we should all be more like John Carpenter

this, to me, is the most exciting Destiny 2 footage they’ve ever shown. Apparently all the other stuff they’ve captured from the console versions and it just does not look as good as this. I don’t mean graphically, just the movement. It’s a testament to what a huge difference KBM makes. I mean it’s great that people enjoy console FPSs and all but hell yeah

watch some destiny 1 titan skating videos
bring back skating

skateboarding was some of the smartest stuff I ever did as a kid. Even now it’s paying dividends because my girlfriend is proud to “be with a skater.” Now, in her thirties, she’s finally achieved her lifegoal

I don’t know if destiskating has the same girlfriend perks but I’ll give it a look

See, I can’t stand the movement without an analogue stick. Four buttons just doesn’t work at all the same for me, and with movement being so important as to why I play Bungie stuff, I will just always be rocking a controller for their games.

I can see that. For me it’s the aiming that just doesn’t work with an analogue stick and that’s more important to me than the “body” movement. I wonder what it will be like when analogue keyboards become the norm or more established, what WASD movement will be like then. I mean, you probably still won’t like it because it’s still four buttons you have to press but for me personally I think it’s going to be great.

I also really just love pressing the mouse button to shoot something. I like that more than pulling a trigger, funny enough.

But talking about this, I’ll actually try and play the game with my 360 controller for once. I want to see what it’s like

At least use a controller for the Sparrow and the few vehicle sections. It feels so nice for those.

I do completely get the aiming thing, and in some games that is way more important for me, so KBM is the way to go. Bungie stuff just isn’t like that for me.

I don’t know that analogue KBs will address the “eight directions” problem for me, but I’ve never used one or even know what they are.

yeah, that’s not gonna fix that. but it’s basically a mechanical keyboard that has light switches under every key, to measure the distance of the key. The Wooting One is the first analogue keyboard, as far as I know. Costs like 200 bucks or something
