I find what Steam is trying to communicate here almost as obscured as the Traveller’s intentions
Punching reloads magazine, landing all pellets buffs punching. The first column both shotgun barrels of choice for PvE (smoothbore) and PvP (full choke). The second column gives you big bonuses to stability or range. I love it.
I think this is similar to the curated Threat Level roll from Scourge of the Past but I got it from my first Cleansed Essence of Rage so I’m chuffed.
I haven’t played in months and the thought of someone running this thing with one eyed just burst a blood vessel in my neck
OEM got a nerf, no more overshield. Also these sorts of perks aren’t great for PvP, you want Slideshot, Quickdraw, and/or Snapshot on PvP shotguns (with Full Choke).
Damn nice PvE shotgun tho. Slap a boss spec on that and you’ve got a boss melter for sure.
Did all the currently available sundial missions. Saving Saint-14, giving him the Perfect Paradox, and showing him the fate of the Last City was cool. I like how completely unperturbed my ghost is about everything, while Saint-14 is going wild cuz I’m so strong.
the “ritual weapons” (aka pinnacles) are pretty easy this season. the aim assist buff made linear fusions headshot if you sneeze in the general direction of somebody. sidearms were just a grind. doing gambit next
the saint-14 questline is fun. it trades in russian stereotypes (he’s basically just heavy weapons guy) but i love the art design of his missions and all the lore detail they are adding through them
I like the pigeons
he’s at the tower now and if you are a titan wearing his helmet when you meet him for the first time he says “let’s go say hi to zavala and confuse him”
just did an lfg garden with a raider with a big chip on his shoulder who sabotaged me in the final fight (purposefully denied rebuilds because “you don’t need them”) and didn’t know the right strats, and despite mocking me the entire time i still out-dpsed him and never died lol
idk what consumes people who are so experienced to act like such scrubs. he has like over 100 clears in every other raid except garden
thinking about coming back, questions:
did they make any good non-raid pve yet??? doubt i can convince my old group to get back in
is it going to take me long to catch up? (quit at black armory release)
is not forgotten / mind bender’s still half decent for pvp or am i in for pain before i get meta guns
I think that combo is still valid for PvP from the youtube people I’ve watched
Am sitting at 960 thinking about what to do next in PvE really
I have all the equipment I need to get anything I cared about doing done, so I can probably just clock out and wait for some more season mission stuff to land?
Unless I want to farm a handful of weapons that have FeedFrenzy and MultiKill Clip on them to… do things I can already do well enough without
im still amazed at how into destiny you got! all it took was the game being free!
Ordeal Nightfalls are pretty good. You have to coordinate equipment since it’s match game and there’s also tons of champions. At 980 they take about as long as a short raid, and killing all champions give you a very high chance at an exotic.
Maybe? Soft cap is 900, hard cap is 960, pinnacle cap is 970. I got to hard cap in Shadowkeep season within two weeks of only playing on one character. If you balance your playtime, you can hit cap in one weekly reset.
Also, everything from before Shadowkeep is now set at base light (750), including raids, so you have access to a lot more activities now.
NF I don’t see much; people prefer Last Word it seems. Mindbender’s is absolutely still the shotgun of choice for most people. Current meta is a mix of sniping and shotguns.
i was glued to last word in d1 so it’s the first thing i’d go for here
375 hours and i still kind of suck at it
If you never got around to the raids we should do one of the free ones for sure
I can teach Eater, it’s super ez
Eater rules it’s like Overcooked with guns
