So y’all know how they said it wouldn’t work with OBS, overlays, etc.? It doesn’t actually stop them, it just detects them and bans you. Be careful. Hopefully the ruckus this is raising will have them reconsider.
founders/admins unable to see the clan admin page on bungie.net is a ‘known issue’ bungie are ‘investigating’ so i suppose that’ll be fixed by launch
i played a fair bit of the pc beta, it’s a hell of a lot nicer than the console version, though i don’t think the tickrate, matchmaking etc. are going to go over very well
will still be playing on ps4, don’t want the raid spoiled & i… don’t think i know five people playing it on pc at this point but yeah, very nice.

I hate to be the kind of person for whom, after near-nil exposure to this game for the past couple years, the first 20 minutes being completely unexciting is a huge relief, but hey, those sure were some production values!

is that what happens after I’ve completed the first part of the game up to the jump (when someone picks me up on a ship and then I’m starting the next part on board a battleship)? that’s how far I got
Once you’ve completed Homecoming (the first story mission), you can play either PvP or one PvE strike with other people; you were halfway through Homecoming

I don’t think so. I had to play it all the way through once on the Xbox beta after abandoning it halfway to run an errand.

The opening mission with the Titan minigun, shotgun, and hand cannon is my Halo successor white whale. It’s going to be hard to resist renting it but I don’t know I’d want to invest the time to ultimately abandon it.

nah my computer’s a workstation, when I play games still really just prefer a little box i can turn on without ever having to fuss with. i’ve made my peace with it.
if cross play ever becomes a thing that might change but it sounds like they’ve not got any intention of doing that
