Leon’s us probably the best campaign in terms of scenarios and locations. It has the best conclusion and ramp up of stupidity. Chris’s is probably the most mechanically focused as it’s played more like a straight forward shootman campaign. Jake’s tries to be more varied but has about the same enemy variety as Chris’s while being focused around avoiding on big enemy.
re 6 has mercenaries, who cares how badly the mechanics are utilized in the actual campaigns when they feel so FUN & DYNAMIC in mercs.
anyways, playing doom 3 beyond the first hour for the first time and it really is just “enter room and imps spawn in front and behind you” over and over and over and over

Worse, even if the demons have a reason for just teleporting in, there are sections where they’re just hanging out in monster closets. They added the *Shock email gewgaws, the re-traversal of levels, and really went all out in making the interfaces more than just flashy buttons. Those aren’t the main gameplay loop, however, and because they failed to do anything interesting with the encounters the game felt flat.

The addition of the electrocution phone is the best/worst thing to ever happen to Hitman 2, especially as Elusive Targets go.
It’s easy enough to use! Too easy, maybe. But it also means you’re weaving around in front of your target, dropping this glowing blue cell phone as everyone but the person you want to pick it up tries to grab it.
Last level drops next week, so I’m looking forward to that. At least they’ve already confirmed that they’re working on a third game in this new set. Less ambiguity than last time, for sure.

My initial impressions of Celeste: Chapter 9 is that… it’s not nearly as bad as people claimed. Granted I probably only got through the first third or so of it but nothing so far has been as difficult as the trickier C or even B-sides. This is likely at least in part due to much of it to this point being in a “here is new things to interact with and here is how they work” mode, but I also think a lot of people who bought the game near release are out of practice and forgot how hard it gets.
they all are, because they go on for about a million hours each, and don’t even use most of the game’s mechanics. like i said, re6 is a game that shines in its extras.

The Oxford escort mission in Righteous Fire seems glitched in the GoG edition – the merchant ship just won’t jump. It goes around in small circles around the jumppoint indefinitely. I tried restarting the mission twice, pushing it out of the way and lowering the CPU speed, but nothing helped.
Good thing somebody posted on how to hexedit the save file to skip it here: https://www.gog.com/forum/wing_commander_series/privateer_righteous_fire_complete_mission_via_hex_cheat . Ironically they didn’t run into the same glitch as I did because they just fail the mission straight up (I didn’t have much trouble on that front with my centurion)

RunGunJumpGun is a rather frenetic autorunner with a pretty killer aesthetic. I just made it through the first world in a few minutes but I suspect it’s going to get much more difficult from here on out, this and Celeste are probably going to be games I can only get through in little chunks at a time.
weird, i had no trouble with that one, yet i had constant trouble with the pirate missions breaking and all the pirates turning hostile despite the game saying they were friendly while doing pirate missions???

i beat cooking quest which sucks ass cuz now I have to spend a week trying to find another free mobile game that isnt complete horseshit to play through loading screens
i dont understand why gamers are mad about tiny trans flag in celeste when gears of war has like THIRTY DIFFERENT PRIDE FLAGS TO CHOOSE FROM so when you get MVP in multiplayer you can also give another fuck you that they got beaten by A HUGE QUEERMO

it is simply a joy to get MVP in a gears 5 match and know that I have probably made half the enemy team shit in their diapers because I have a trans flag as my banner. It almost makes the sickening amount of empty corporate queer pandering in games worth it.
