if youre on siren you can join the cross world linkshell, theres a bunch of sbers on aether worlds, and ppl will do dungeons with you!
dungeons dont take longer than half an hour though, youll get through the early ones in like fifteen minutes. even the hard raids later are split up so youre not playing for more than an hour at a time (unless you’re doing like SUPER HARD NEW CONTENT THAT HASN’T BEEN SOLVED YET)
Rest assured that I only attack and absolutely never guard or guard break under any circumstance
I never explore levels fully and go into the next level as soon as I see stairs. I go into every portal that takes me into an incredibly dangerous zone. All my accessories are bags that reduce my stats but allow me to collect more swords to give back to the blacksmith so he can pay his debt back sooner. I just keep a few eggs in my pocket in case of an emergency (eggs own) but almost never have to use them
The decision to only have one 20-floor dungeon until you completely pay back the blacksmith’s debt is absolutely ridiculous, I finished this dungeon on like my 5th day and had paid back maybe 1% of the debt at that point
So now all I’m doing is going back to the dungeon and finding weird tricks to get rich quick + crafting powerful swords to make the game even easier. I got used to it and it’s a chill, good experience now though. I like to take it slow, give gifts, read the newspaper, check some weapon descriptions, etc
I’m playing this like I’d play Animal Crossing, being an absolute square who will not buy anything before that debt is gone
Easiest way to pay back your debt super fast is to overfill sword orders to the different factions. This also has the added benefit of making them more militaristic, which increases your chances of getting a high demand event.
Second dungeon has a really fun boss fight at the end.
Make sure to throw sea cucumbers at enemies, it’s this game’s equivalent to a JRPG “Steal” command.
Yeah I’ve done that a lot and just had an event with tons of guys coming over and buying swords! I don’t even think this consumed swords from the smithy’s inventory, even
If you think about it you’re working for a weapons manufacturer and provoking wars between different factions so you can sell more weapons. This game’s premise might be a tad unethical
Furi (PS4): Made it to the Burst, but am now feeling the usual compulsion to delete the save and start over at some later date. Anyone know how I can stop doing that? I’m never going to finish anything at this rate.
When you feel like doing that take a break for 10 or 20 minutes then come back and make yourself play it for another 10 full minutes and at the end of those ten minutes if you still feel the urge to shelve it go ahead.
I think I am getting hooked on MTGA again but only in the context of playing my one friend who is new to the game and is learning to play. They beat me once out of four games and would have beat me a second time if they didn’t make a catastrophic error with a card they never saw before in the white starter deck.
