I recently went looking for an undub of Siren, seems possibly pretty daunting and never got any traction, so no dice.
The English PAL/NA translation is fine, only the voice acting (heavily received pronouncation) tends to clash with the rural Japan everything else. On the other hand, can add a reminiscent of Silent Hill surreality…
Blood Curse is cool and worthwhile, but much better playing later, as a somewhat wackier fidelity Amerika-Jin remix of the original.

el shaddai is the best. i love yaoi character action art games about apocryphal angels in diesel jeans. i’ve heard from a source that the press copies came with a black CD filled with dark ambient music and a single acoustic david bowie demo.

yeah I have a feeling I will absolutely love it and I missed my chance to buy a copy from a friend so now I’ll suffer for a few months

I couldn’t get the disc to read in the five drives I tried, unfortunately. I’ve still got it if someone has techniques to pull data off of disintegrating CD-Rs.
El Shaddai is one of those very special games for me
the chapter that’s just a remake of the motorcycle scene from FFVII
the most sublime moment I’ve ever experienced in a game, that choir of perfect union and harmony celebrating the end of the world

Was really surprised recently when I discovered the follow up to El Shaddai is like an off-brand Shin Megami Tensei game.
But maybe everyone here knew this?
I just learned of it in the last 6 months but no one’s returned to reassure me it’s still loose and weird so I’m hesitant
yeah i saw this recently too. the game in question is entirely unremarkable and only very loosely connected from what i’ve heard, though.
I’ve still got the disc but no longer have a computer with a disk drive and my work desktop won’t let me install linux.
I’ll definitely poke at this, maybe I could unplug the drive from my work computer and open-case it into my normal desktop if I can cram a SATA cable in there. Either way this disc will not disappear.

This is more of a shameful confession than anything else but I decided to still run my big 64 person march madness simulation in Fire Pro Wrestling World, except since I have nothing but free time I basically went back to the last standing Fire Pro forums and am running it round by round with match write-ups and pictures as if it were an e-fed.
…It feels good to do again for the first time in well over a decade

They say at the beginning of El Shaddai it will take you about 7 hours what a cool thing! And those are not diesel jeans those are EDWIN a very real brand and yes I have a yahoo auctions alert for the El Shaddai Edwin Jeans.
