radiant historia is cool but having to skip all the dialogue and redo fights when you jump between nodes seems like it could get real annoying!! the battle system owns though even if all im doing is making it so i can take 10 turns in a row
the battle system rules, the writing is generally pretty good, I stopped playing because of the footstep sound and a ‘collect 5 sticks and bring them to me’ quest.
i get radiant historia and radiata stories mixed up
radiator stories
god the fucking footstep noise really gives grandia 2 a run for its money
Most of the actual gameplay in that game isn’t worth anything, save for the early middle eastern town segment. Which was the E3 demo.
Thanks! Do you know of anything in the same vein as 3D? The gimmick was really annoying and different and I can’t find anything like it
i believe theres another 3d picross on switch
i think theres only the picross s games on switch? i think i have the first one
Yeah none of the Picross S series have 3D puzzles
ohh were there just two 3ds ones? i have not played picross in a while im sorry! i should have CONSULTED THE INTERNET i refuse im staying right here in this box and typing
edit yeah apparently there was a 3d round 2 on 3ds
My partner has resorted to just playing the same 3D picross multiple times
it’s only 2d, but kemono friends picross is on switch
As far as I am aware the DS and 3DS versions of Picross 3D are the only version of that concept, and I click on just about every Steam picross new release I come across. Perhaps there is something like it in the flood of smartphone apps.
If you are willing to move from 3d picross to 3d minesweeper though, Delete at least flirts with that concept a bit. It’s rather different from what you are looking for, but it is the closest analog I can come up with off the top of my head.
the journey people released some weird free to play phone game that looks exactly like journey with a different color palette and plays like journey if journey were a phone game that needed to justify selling you some stuff you’re never going to buy. it’s more multiplayer-y and I don’t get it, but it kept my attention for some reason. it’s called sky: children of the light
also: did YOU know that tetris effect PC doesn’t have support for the DS4? what a great idea, thanks epic store.
That’s pretty much the biggest reason why I use Steam. The DS4 just works with everything and it’s my favorite gamepad
I know there was the complaint that Snake didn’t say much in PP but he says almost nothing in the last 3 hours of 4.
“This is good. Isn’t it?”
If Duke3D is about the strength to go to a strip club Metal Gear Solid 4 Sons of The Patriots is about the strength to look up a co-workers skirt.
Real powerful yo, I ugly sobbed during the end of MGS4
My gf and her friends were…intrigued? even partially moved that I could be so moved at the wedding interwoven with Snake at the graves.
There’s a lot of powerful catharsis after uh…Mt. Snakefour and the battle atop Arsenal Gear
MGS4 is hyper indulgent in a way i wish was more common tbqh
i mean, in the case of MGS in general it comes at an unacceptable cost, but… boy oh boy. one thing that mgs4 cannot be accused of is a lack of enthusiasm
