The Patient Zero missions are wild. The last one in particular, once you realize what’s happening, makes you realize that you need to approach the entire mission in a completely different way than most in the game.
I wish I liked Marrakesh more. I’ve never been able to pull off the whole double code word kill, where you gotta put a call in at the school, then rush to the embassy and do the same there, in such a tight window where both targets arrive to the evac point at the same time. I’m always too late, and one of them has wandered back by the time I get back to the tunnel.
I will say that I respect what they tried to do with Marrakesh (a big bustling city, with two very different locked down areas that the targets mill about), and think they kinda achieved that goal and then some with Mumbai in Hitman 2.
That level has its own issues, though (mostly those gang members who can see through every disguise).
all right hitman 2 ps4 literally won’t start for me, i get a blue error screen when i try to start it up
i’ve deleted and redownloded it twice and moved all my save data off my console and into the cloud and tried firing it up offline and made sure it and my ps4 are latest version
i have never heard of such a thing in my life
edit ok i got it working
however the whole reason i have a ps4 is so that i don’t have to “boot into safe mode” and “rebuild database”

Think I’ll try giving this a go today. I have never managed to get into that bunker, or do any of the hits where you have to cause the targets to evacuate cause yeah the timing is tough.
Oh yeah I think if there was a version of that level that didn’t have the guards in the slums that’d be my favorite level. I kept waiting for them to do more with it, how many bonus missions and elusive contracts did sapienza get and here was their actual best level
Almost done getting mastery in Colorado, which I’ve really enjoyed my time with. Then I finally get to play around in Hokkaido which I’ve heard from so many people is the best map in Hitman 2016. We’ll see about that!
Oh I still gotta do that. I managed to do my first SA run my first time through Colorado. The idea of trying the seemed kind of intimidating to me for some reason, idk why. Turning on the SA status UI element was reassuring.
Mostly a fluff piece but there are some shots of old levels in VR. It’s still difficult believe it’s going to be the same, full games in VR. Looks like they’re supporting PS Move to give you full motion of your tools and weapons, showing a shot where you tap a guy on a shoulder with a crowbar to get his attention, but shots of movement looked like smooth walking despite move controllers not having any sticks so I wonder how they’ll be handling movement. Or is this just a PSVR marketing deal and it’s coming to PC VR too? That probably makes the most sense.
I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out though.
I spent most of my time in Hitman 2 playing the old levels from Hitman 2016, so I’m sure when Hitman 3 hits, I will…spend most of my time playing the levels from Hitman 2016 again.
