Yeah the LED for that kit was like ten bucks, so I splurged on it. it’s great.
Trying out a new priming technique to create highlights before there’s even any real color on the figure.

Did another layer on space marine 1, but that’s not terribly exciting. He just looks a bit less splotchy.
This is the two-toned (“Zenithal”) primed guy, and the red is just bursting with candy apple coloration. This will be toned down, though, with a shade wash. And the purple gauntlet will actually get purpler when I do a purple wash on that.

My first Wave kit. I had to use glue to assemble the stool. It was the only finicky part of the build. The cab itself is very well done. I painted the start buttons yellow rather than use stickers. A first, for me. I considered going for a Fighting Vipers cab but no, even though it kinda looks cooler I don’t like that game as much as Virtua Fighter. Once I stop being tired I will find the perfect Gundam to prop up in front of this baby and they will spend the rest of their days wailing away at that 2 player penal, waiting for someone to join them.

I’d experiment with using one of those paint Gundam Markers I got at Gamestop 2 years ago for $2 but doing that on an expensive p-bandai kit makes me feel kinda nervous so I will list it on ebay and if someone pays twice what I did hey, that’s good, and if not I bet I will have a robot I love as long as I don’t look too close.

That Woundwort will be available on the US P-BANDAI site in a few hours. Will they sell out immediately? Who knows. That happens sometimes. But then sometimes they’ll allocate more a few days later.
