OK I just now changed my Xbox username to Broco#8811. It was a default name TonierBug037 before (seems to still show up as that in MCC after 10 minutes). I’m also Broco on Steam.

aaand I’m back to the bug of windows store apps spawning the store rather than the apps when they try to run. this took a long time to fix when it last happened a year ago. I will keep you posted

Felix had to leave for dinner after 30 minutes because it took so long to get things working (also another 20 minutes for voice chat). We made it halfway through the first level. Good times were had anyway

according to 343’s dev blog for this month we’re getting crossplay eventually but that same update is going to switch the game to input device based matchmaking because PC players have spent the past few months bitching about how controller users have an advantage in the game designed for controllers. It’s extremely cool that I won’t be able to matchmake with my girlfriend anymore because pc gamers unironically want me to believe it’s easier to aim on a gamepad than a mouse

They need to do it like Modern Warfare or Fortnite where it always matches you with the same input device unless you’re in a mixed party but it’s 343 so I just assumed they were going to colossally fuck this up somehow and got briefly heated about it. I get mad for like an hour about any change they make to these games at this point. crossplay is really good news though
