ggs all. literally wouldn’t let me leave the room without just closing the game, so couldn’t say anything.
my struggles with the chipp and nago matchups were on full display there, probably won 20% of matches. you’d think my problems against characters that disparate would be different, but it’s actually the exact same thing: I absolutely cannot deal with command grabs at all, in any situation, against any character. kind of sad for a pot player to get command grabbed 10 times a match and hit like 4 pot busters the entire night, but that do be how it is.

I think you’re way, way underestimating how often you won! I think both matchups ain’t easy for Pot and you did some sick shit, I popped every time anyone landed a potemkin buster.
I wish I’d spectated some of the Pot mirrors, I bet a room with 60% Pot mains isn’t common.
I haven’t popped bloodrage so often since release day. I got too hot blooded I guess. If a Nago ever enters bloodrage just walk backwards, don’t hit a button, and let them bleed out. He’s almost totally useless in that mode.

I think this is dumb and needs to be patched, btw. there’s no reason they can’t siphon some strength out of his neutral game and let blood mode actually be a thing in return
our matches were a lot of fun in neutral, and less fun when you hit 214H lol

I now actually really like how bloodrage mode is punishment. I love managing the meter, which I didn’t expect, and it’s been really fun figuring how many bars are ideal for certain matchups/opponents – like, building 2 bars and getting huge normals doesn’t seem to help that much in the Chipp fight since has an easier time avoiding Nago’s 2H than most characters. It’s probably best to save blood for combos that’ll finish him ASAP. And it can be real thrilling to gamble and see how far you can push it before you pop.
Having to to keep track of an opponent Nago’s meter is something I wouldn’t want to do though, I only like to think about me. Me, me, me…

Why did nobody tell me this game has been cracked and you can even play online with people who use the same crack? Of course I’ll check it out then
Quick question/realization: Is the game supposed to look super choppy? I’m running it at 60fps, so that’s not the issue but character animation is not smooth, it looks like it’s skipping frames. I never noticed this in the YouTube videos I’ve watched and maybe that’s because of video compression… But maybe something is wrong on my end? I’ve set it to “best” in graphics settings. Is this a stylistic choice? Because it’s super hard to look at for me. Just watching the idle animations is already driving me kinda crazy
