I still can’t believe they spent an episode introducing Spoiler in the most badass possible fashion, then we’ve not seen hide or hair of her since. That is so absolutely YJ.

And I thought Natalie P was kinda disinterested in doing more of these films, coulda just been

my (entirely for fun) guess is portman refused to do another movie unless they “make her thor” and she got her bluff called and now has to do this for two years

Someone’s gonna say “Doesn’t look like anything to me.” and whatever scene it appears in will get lots of retweets.
Natlie Portman is okay but she absolutely isn’t the sort that I’d expect to pull off “bombastic goddess of thunder.” I don’t know if it’s the script or her acting that’s to blame for how flat she came off in Thor 1 and 2. Probably both.

Yeah it seems at odds with a few things. Her presence in MCU stuff altogether always felt off. Between her own attitude/statements toward the work, general filmography, and really a frame that doesn’t exclude but still seems far from being bulked up to appear Thor-ish in any sense, I guess it’ll be interesting to see her plugged in.

joker seriously has a ‘we live in a society’ line right before he murders robert deniro on television
everything about this makes it seem like an absurdly high-budget the asylum take on the king of comedy.
