The “Sonic Speed Simulator” game in Roblox is legitimately pretty fun. It’s essentially a clicker, except instead of clicking you run around and collect XP which increases your level, and thus your max speed. Once you hit a level cap, you can “rebirth” which gives you higher XP multipliers and even higher level caps. There’s also a ring currency you can spend on cosmetic trails and chao pets, which further increase your XP and money multipliers and level up independently.
Every 5 minutes a server-wide race begins, which pits you against other players currently on that server. Often this results in hilariously unfair races where one player is orders of magnitude faster than the rest.

bailing on properly playing through sonic unleashed due to unforgivable mashing QTEs
sonic colors ultimate is weird because it has obvious cut corners from 2010 and 2021 and doesn’t compare favorably with playing the former in an emulator
3d sonic from unleashed through forces is fine but with pick-your-poison filler. colors and generations have the most benign — 2.5 stages — but i wonder how well an open world will work. it can’t be worse than the PS2ish melee platformer collectathon half of unleashed in my book

yeah I’m stressed by the amount of physical damage defensive enemies and tge large packs they keep throwing at me. it seems like it’s paced with enough chances to use a tent at least.

the best use of turbo functionality on 8bitdo controllers is bypassing all mashing qtes. If a game uses multiple buttons in a qte mashing segment (like alternately smashing l2 and r2 or whatever), I’ll bind that to one of the paddle buttons on my pro 2 and just set the paddle to turbo.
My hands are too fragile to destroy them playing some 6/10 garbage game (90% of the games I play)
