i’ve been playing diablo iii console lately because i apparently loathe free time
i am utterly fascinated by the dialogue in this game. it is truly astoundingly bad. i have a hard time imagining the life that would lead a grown-ass adult to a position where they could feel comfortable being paid to write like this, even considering the audience they are writing for. clearly, the influence of the dragonball z dub on the millenial generation has been understated to say the least
at first i thought “how the heck did they get jennifer hale to sign off on this” but then i remembered metal gear

Leigh is like the worst possible role I can imagine for Hale
Is this confirmed for real? There’s so little info about the game that’s actually out right now that most things have been extrapolated from like a dozen screenshots and a Famitsu article, and none of them explicitly say that stuff isn’t there.
Some of the free-to-play gating is starting to chafe, though!

Alright I managed a few games.
It’s a fun mix of windjammers and virtua tennis without the 90’s pastel futuresport charm of the former.
Doubles are pretty killer.
Still jonesing for the Real Thing.

If you didn’t know about it, buying a duck removes all wait times. It’s pretty much like buying “the full game” really

Yea her character design is offensive in a brain-dead way. All of them are. I’m contrasting it a lot with videoball.

The characters would be on a poster for the Food Pyramid.
I will design better characters for a consulting fee of $5000 (negotiable).

I could be unnecessarily mean to this game.
Holy shit Johann Sebastian Joust is the most fun I’ve had playing a game in years. I was so bad at – over an hour+ I probably played for 30 seconds – but I was laughing and smiling so much my cheeks hurt.
The bigger issue are the Rice Balls, which seem to be the key to getting your hands on many of the available crafting materials and which seem to be very hard to come by in normal play otherwise.
Yeah. I did fine without much grinding and without ever using a single riceball but:
- I had to stick to pretty much only one weapon (I used a spear) which got frustrating
- Late bosses were brutal and I don’t think I could have beaten them without buying the other permanent item beyond ducks (the one that changes and refreshes your inventory and has unlimited durability)
Found of copy of Halo 2: Vista Evolved at a thrift store, sorted out this Project Cartographer patch to bypass the GFWL error, and played through most of the first level.
It doesn’t feel like that good of a game, but I imagine it’s to a lot of people what Dynasty Warriors is to me in that it’s something to keep your hands busy for a couple hours.
I’m afraid of multiplayer, but servers seem to be populated.
Umm, generic Halo advice but maybe play on a higher difficulty?

it kinda derserves it? Like having played a bunch of WJ with dudes at my office, this game comes across really not well at all.
