that ending made me hate that game, because in the end nothing really matters.
DQV is not DSi-enhanced, so you’re fine.
I just want to point out that a major plot point in Bioshock Infinite is that to escape the city you jump dimensions to one where you are ‘evil’ and Elizabeth feels super responsible for ya’lls doppelgangers’ actions, so you just decide to live in that universe forever I guess?
Like, the plot of the game literally is that halfway through you jump to a parallel dimension with a different plot. Video games aren’t just for kids anymore!
I should tell you DQ5 did have an anti piracy thingie in it. You can still play it on the R4 if you patch the ROM or enable the cheat for it.
or get a flashcart that’s newer and less shitty than the r4, like whatever the current incarnation of the acekard is or a dstwo
Just bought a brand new copy of DQV off Amazon UK along with Wicker Man on Blu Ray because why not
Looks like today is the Harvest Festival in Animal Crossing, with a big Thanksgiving meal cooked by none other than a giant anthropomorphic turkey. Spent my whole bus trips today trying to find his damn ingredients for him. On the plus side, my town is now apparently the best town ever according to my residents
Then you jump again and it doesn’t’ matter. Characters aren’t characters they’re faces you see for 5 minutes and any single take on one person will be different. You just jump along to get through. None of it matters, once you jump you never come back.
Then they try to play it like a time travel story but that doesn’t work because you find that everyone could be the person they hate, but there’s nothing connecting them but a face, maybe a name.
To live the life of Bioshock Infinite is Nihilism on a metaphysical scale.
I think Bioshock Infinite is the only game I hate, thinking about it just makes me mad.
I just downloaded the update today myself. I was kinda hoping for more changes…
Oh. I must have forgotten that you switch universes again. I just remembered Elizabeth being talking about how it’s your responsibility to clean up after some dude who isn’t you and getting very confused.
To be fair, this is the sequel to a game where the big plot twist is that you are a mind controlled 2-year old who was stolen from your dead mother’s womb as a fetus and artificially aged to be an adult. What I am saying is that the Bioshock games are really stupid, but not in a cute way like the Fear series.
Hooked up my Japanese 360 to play some dodonpachi. The last entry in the series is really good. I finally pulled the trigger on buying a copy of Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets, still waiting on it though.
I think the idea is that you’re a parent looking at your daughter and all the ways she could turn out; what if I screwed up and she was broken? what if she had to save me? Imagine the terror of having a kid now, in our broken world anno 2016; what have you done to this new soul?
In its bare simplicity it’s a nice metaphor but it’s buried under a pile of garbage, so
I’m playing Rise of the Tomb Raider, and it’s pretty slick. I can see why some think it falls into the traps that Uncharted does, but really the NuTombRaider thing is working. Instead of feeling like you’re always fighting an army, they concentrate six or so guys into a fight (thus far) and use some placement and armament to create difficulty, not that it’s hard, but I’m scraping by and loosing. Actually wolf packs are way harder until you ‘learn’ a reaction skill.
I also like the levels, sure there are roller coaster sections, but there’s also areas you criss corss on small collectothons and go to find the tombs you came for, and sit down and solve an environmental puzzle.
And those Tombs are pretty decent puzzles.
What’s weird is I’m playing on hard and I constantly stock up on items to the point I don’t think I can ever run loss much less run out.
I’m curious what survival adds to the game, probably more hunting though… eff that :p.
IDK pretty great game overall.
i never thought i’d say this, but the terribleness of the new tomb raider reboots actually made me appreciate the older games a lot more
forgive me @Father.Torque for i have sinned
I think the extra games you get from the WiiU and 3DS items was good enough for me. There was another update today which I stupidly accepted causing me to miss my bus
same o/
i went to try mark of the ninja on linux.
you cannot task switch from it. it locks alt-tab. if you window the game, it not only locks all window management functions but prevents the mouse from leaving the window.
the ninja has trapped you. you cannot escape.
this is my review of mask of the ninja.
(apparently steam overlay sidesteps this.)
At some point in Bioshock Infinite I lost track of which kind of dimensional jumps results in you bleeding due to scrambled brains and which had zero consequence.
Mainly I get hung up on their being a million million similar but different dimensions, but going back and having yourself killed at one point fixes all of them based on the various Elizabeths fading away one by one, it feels like that would still leave a million million minus one yous out there. I think the game half tried to wave this away but it never really helped.
Also you were a key piece in a decades long plot so they had a brainwashed you get to the underwater city in the most sensible manner possible, by crashing a rather large passenger plane into the ocean so that you could be the sole survivor. The original game is a rather special kind of dumb.
Rise, my child. Our Lady Croft has need of you yet.
I played wolfenstein old blood and I’m replaying wolfenstein new order. I didn’t appreciate this game enough in it’s time.
b.j. blazkowicz is another classic master performance by auteur voice performer brian bloom
Animal Crossing update is pretty neato, adds a binch of new stuff to do, though really I just want more cool chats with my townsfolk and les running errands for them all the dang time
oh I also started playing the secret world! Right now I’m all THIS WOULD BE AN AWESOME SINGLE PLAYER GAME but I only just started so that may change when I actually start doing group stuff.
