Ultra Street Fighter IV (PC)
The STEAM STORE menu item doesnāt actually go to the Steam storeābut it does re-check for DLC, so that sort of worksāafter I found that there was ONE little costume pack leftāfor Decapre, Hugo, etcāthat isnāt included in the three larger DLC packs that have everything else.
Iām still a Steam noob and I was surprised by how poorly the Steam store handles the DLC listings. It doesnāt tell you which ones you already own until you look at them in your cart, it lists one (all-in-one 2011) that is already included in the purchase of the full Ultra game (but maybe not in the upgrade from Super or whatever? thatās the only reason I can think it would be there; also, even the non-upgrade version identifies as Super in OBSās window capture selection menu ^ _^), and it makes it real hard to tell that it mysteriously leaves this one small costume pack out.
Also, as far as I could tell (and Iām still not super-clear on this, I couldnāt find a list or something about it), I THINK the PS4 version includes two of those three big costume packs that the Steam version makes you buy separately for an additional $40āat least, the only one available for separate purchase on PS4 is the Horror one; and the PS4 version was also $5 cheaper than the Steam version, not even counting unincluded DLC.
But eh I convinced myself that the Steam version would have better input delay and load timesāeven though I couldnāt actually find recent info on input delay in either version; and come to think of it, load times on PS5 might be at least as good?
I have no idea. Maybe input delay would be worse on PS5 though for all I know, that seems to have been a trend in some other stuff. Well who knows, now Iām just trying to justify my silly purchase. : P
Anyway it runs good even on my ~4 yr old middling gaming laptopā300 fps in the BENCHMARK mode with everything except motion blur (didnāt try, but donāt usually like motion blur) cranked to max. : P
Sheesh! Huzzah for old 3D games!
Also it doesnāt know about Windows versions past 8, apparently. ^ _^
I bounced off the PS3 version back in 2009 after trying to go e-sports ^ D^, didnāt think much more about it after one last PS3 playthrough in 2016, but so far Iām enjoying it here in 20xx. The AI is more fun to fight against than the AI in all the other SFs I just tried, and the variety of characters and stagesāand animated story intros and endings!āis a lot of fun.
