Iāve fallen into the rabbit hole that is OpenTTD (Transport Tycoon Deluxe). Thereās something real satisfying having 50+ trains all going on the same core line without too much issue. It took me about a week to finally get how to properly be a transport company, mostly to do with having at least one vehicle waiting for goods at a station to crank up the station rating and thus the amount of goods available, but Iām still not quite there with being a transit company.

I was surprised how fun Ridge Racer 4 is with a Jogcon, and surprised again at how unfun Ridge Racer V is with any controller (including the Jogcon).
I decided to try the copy of Infamous: Second Son I got from PS+.
The bit at the start where I covered a billboard for a cop with graffiti was pretty cool. And then I think āwoah, I have to fight super ICE? Thatās coolā. My favorite place to ever be is the Pacific Northwest, so the whole Seattle area setting was really cool too.
But the more I played, the more the game kept acting like āThe regular police are good and pure and HATE the evil government forces as much as you do!ā angle and I started to feel sick. When the game told me to beat up ālootersā, I felt worse. I pretty much said āfuck thisā when I found out that I got light side points for destroying ādrugsā because, and I quote:
āDrugs are Illegalā.
I guess my super powered antifa sim still has not arrived.

I have a lot of nausea for inFamous 2ās racist sexist bullshit. Glad to see the writers are just as awful as ever.
Like, problematic media is nothing new, but these guys are exceptionally good at having the worst takes, and somehow ruining the rest of the game.

Killing fascists is cool, but this game just specifically set itself up as fighting ICE agents with fireball fists. Like that specific concept is really neat as an open world game idea. The fact that itās set in one of my favorite parts of the US, Washington State, made it sound even better.
I liked New Order a lot, and iāll for sure get to the sequel at some point down the road. But itās not the same.

I was at my friendās place. I was going through his ps4 library. He had Apotheon, probably because it has been a ps+ game? Anyway, I asked him if he had played it and he wasnāt sure so I started it up and played a bit and he didnāt appreciate the whole black-figure vase aesthetic or the fact that sides were being scrolled and I said well, at least it is very violent. You like violence, yes? He said it is not enough. I said: perhaps we can reach some fine hams, some truly luscious hams, though I doubt I said it like that. He did not humor me re: getting to a point where he could see the most prominent hams. We moved on to something else.
That was to me the day I realized we had drifted very far apart. He says āsjwā sometimes. I donāt know what to do. I love his child like a niece.
Anyway Apotheon probably has the best characterization of Area in any media ever, except for the moment in the Iliad when he goes to whine to Zeus that he done got pricked by Diomedes? Love a babby wargod.

FAQing a Souls game is a capital crime but the one thing you must FAQ is Demonāsā weapon upgrade system. Itās just not worth the trouble to figure out yourself.

Itās accomplishing its task as a literal bogging down point. In contrast the other two sections are relatively faster with the last being a sharp execution.
