I have seen exactly one (1) pocket car in Yakuza 6, and it has set my soul aflame
I think Le Sunset Salto is compelling despite being kind of a pain to play.

My kinda game
iāve never played evergrace but the soundtrack is like the best videogame soundtrack ever composed holy shit
post some hot tracks
this is one of my favourites
itās like someone tried to make āworldā music using odd pitch shifted vocal samples and jrpg musical cliches like pipey synths and ominous arpeggios. production also sounds rather strange and āwarpedā to me, in a good way.
in a way it also reminds me of susumu yokotaās albums from around that era, particularly āsymbolā that has a lot of decontextualized opera/classical music samples:
If youāre about decontextualized classical samples, you know about the Drakengard soundtrack right?
thank you evergrace defense squadron I love you
front mission 3 just got me good.
iām at āendgameā now, i captured a Rare Mech[tm] with a beam cannon on it, and after a bit i decided⦠yeah, okay, iām gonna use this, why not, Iām steamrolling everything anyway. so I put it on my benchwarmer rifle dude.
i had him attack the enemy leader on first turn, and it went like this:
- enemy leader goes first
- āArm Breakā procs
- the arm with the beam cannon it breaks
- the force of the blow ejects the pilot out
- during enemy turn he gets focus fired by missile dudes and dies
like, okay game, iāll go back to shotguns, i can take a hint
the evergrace soundtrack most reminds me of late 14th c. italian music, particularly the saltarello.
iām so glad someone here is playing Evergrace, now i donāt have to
Someone here had a really rad LP of Evergrace that was abandoned very early and I was very sad about that
Isnāt that the special mech you order from the internet or something, after hacking the plans for it or something. (itās been like 17 years ok)
Anyway, that beam weapon is pretty rad.
If you get at least 35 platinum medals before the relevant mission (on emmaās route), one shows up on an enemy and you can capture it.
I donāt remember how you get it from the Network portion but I know thereās a way.
So I believe I am right before the point of no return in Mass Effect 3 and one of the things I was told was to check the numbers before doing that and⦠theyāre bad, like really not even close. I got one piece of DLC left to finish so Iām gonna go do that but I was under the impression that the numbers one gets from the DLC plus what was in the game was enough to cross that arbitrary original number. I ponder if some of the choices Iāve made were the opposite of wise as Iāve done basically every single optional thing possible.
I can grasp why everyone was pissy about this when the game released now.
Also Iām not downloading the extended ending to āfixā those numbers.
*Clicks stupid things on online ME3 website game to try and game the numbers
you have to play multi iirc
not much, just a little, otherwise itās nearly impossible to get them up there
youāre very much better off without the extended ending though
Itās been a real, real long time but I remember just being a normal completionist and having more than enough points. Like I didnāt think about it at all, I just played the game. I donāt thiiiiiiink I played any multi until I finished the single? But I canāt really remember.
I want to say that if you do literally 100% of the stuff in the single player perfectly (i.e. getting the best possible resolution to both the krogan and the geth arcs) you will barely cross the required 50% point threshold but you have like⦠a .5x multiplier on your potential point total for not having played the multi, and it goes up 10% for every game you play, and only degrades at a rate of like 1% a week. so if you play like three multi matches itāll put you over on a ānormalā run through the game but itās extremely difficult to clear it without.
also iirc the only difference from clearing it is that you have the option of a third choice at the very very end which is slightly less bad than the other two but itās far from the most interesting part of the story anyhow
