Games You Played Today Classic Mini

It’s by the Jumping Flash, Ghost in the Shell team, isn’t it?

That looks like such my jam.

you can also set it up to have modern fps-style controls!

I’ve been replaying the DS version of Might and Magic Clash of Heroes on my phone recently. Weirdly for a touch-based game, it’s much better to play it with a virtual d-pad and buttons.

It’s probably the best Match 3 Strategy RPG set in the Might and Magic universe ever made.

But no, it’s actually a fantastic game and I don’t know why I haven’t seen the mechanics of this game lifted a hundred-thousand times in the past X years since it was released.

I wish that it signalled better what level an opponent was before I was committed to the fight though. It has this weird system where fleeing a battle costs resources, but dying is free and continues right where you left off before starting the fight. So the optimal way of playing, in terms of time saving, is to save before every fight, start it, then reset the game if it’s obviously too hard. But since I always forget to save, I have to play through the whole damn fight, knowing the whole time that I am going to lose.

Regardless, it’s an excellent game and has more strategy than it rightly should. I love it.

Nope, it’s by Inti Creates, and I’m getting crossthreaded remembering that Inti also made the radical Speed Power Gunbike

I tried giving The Bard’s Tale 4 a shot but it’s too unforgiving for a game that needs a lot of forgiveness. Buggy, choppy, and poorly explained. There’s some interesting stuff in there, but I really can’t trust the game to run for long enough to not waste a ton of my time.

So its a Bards Tale game

Haven’t played any of the other ones :man_shrugging:

A friend of mine worked on that game, she did a lot of the UI assets.

From what I understand the development was kind of a clusterfuck so

speed power gunbike is what i want from a 3d sonic game, even down to the way that it’s no fun at all until you start getting good at it

got blops 4 and promptly got my ass kicked, consistently dying in blackout with 40-80 people remaining, this is more like what I was expecting PUBG mobile would be like

I’m hoping this will be the game that makes me good at first person shooters.

I thought I was good in Titanfall 2, but with the player counts down it’s clear that all that’s left on the servers are absolute monsters and kids who got the game on sale (I do OK against those kids).

Yeah I went from “holy shit I’m competitive” to “I can just barely keep up” when the titanfall 2 servers thinned out to the diehards

Wii U or 3DS?

The 3DS version of Captain Toad is pretty great, but when they call those hidden Toads “Pixel Toads,” they ain’t kidding (it might be easier on an XL?).

I played Tekken 7 with my friend today and it was the first time I played a game this month and the third time I actually spoke at length with someone since July and let me tell you! It was really nice.

3ds for Yoshi and Switch for the Cap’n

get reading glasses

I tried the demo of Captain Toad on 3DS and couldn’t really get a handle on the controls! mostly because I want to use the touchscreen and d-pad instead of the nubbles and buttons. it probably works better on Switch (i’m guessing)

I just had a dream where I was playing Animal Crossing and a new villager moved in who was a cannibal, but he only ate versions of himself he pulled from parallel universes.
