thanks - I had a feeling I was missing something, including the hint about missing something!
kind of in awe of how dense the map is.

I complain about Zero Mission doing this all the time, but basically this âsearch for secrets/solutions in the wrong areaâ issue is why more modern Metroidvanias increasingly tend to lock the door behind you when they present you with a mandatory exploration puzzle. Itâs a very tricky balance to strike to be satisfying.
I thought the ashtray maze was obviously unsolvable on first visit because of the lore description. I think the pacing mustâve just hit right for me.
Not sure if this is also just meta knowledge that because such a reality warping device, that hasnât been mentioned by the main plot, with itâs very own map section meant that I must not have to be there yet.
Iirc, you can get there very early in the game if you obsessively explore and it is pretty clearly a ânot yetâ thing at that point.
Yeah the upside to all this is despite how good or bad the signposting is etc when you come back when youâre actually supposed to itâs like, the best part of the entire game
katana kami is pretty good.
not even sophie chevalier?

God I love the stories in R4 and how they change based on your performance in the races.
ive been playing skyward sword on the switch and⌠it isnt bad
im really not good at it tho
Got ending 2 of 4 in The Forgotten City. Cool little game! Definitely gonna get back in there and get the other three.
It is funny to learn it was originally a Skyrim mod, because the whole way characters will sorta stop what theyâre doing and pivot around to talk to you is still there. Hey, it worked for that game and sold a billion copies, why not keep it here.

Once again swayed by Eurogamer (who give effusive praise to every racing game and make them all sound good) and picked up Cruisân Blast, which it turns outâŚhey it is pretty good.
Holy shit is it garish as hell, but I guess I never realized how much I missed this particular vein of like, constant visual overstimulation racing.
Itâs also surprisingly challenging? At least on Normal, so far. Been more than a few races Iâve only narrowly won by last second slamming a turbo boost and corkscrewing through the air over the two cars ahead of me. Lotta âhey man you still gotta find a dentist in your network before you grit your teeth this hardâ moments over here.
I dunno, you can eventually unlock a hammerhead shark with nitrous boosts. Thatâs alright by me.

Still Project I.G.I, hard mode
I really love the old school agent game which a middle-aged guy killed everyone then find whatever jets to get out.
Played a bit of Genshin Impact.
Forgot that they added a new character story quest andâŚjust didnât bother with it. Havenât bothered with hangouts. Did another quest for Neko (who is a cat). Did the usual dailies and expedition stuff.
Also played a bunch of Star Trek Online with my brother. We did a group mission to progress the current event, but most of our time was spent clearing the rest of the Romulan story arc and running through the Cardassian story arc with new characters.
IGI!
IGI!
marvel 2 with @HOBO over flycast B)
Yo marvel 2 still rocks and Flycast Dojo is legit
Had to forward my ports tho
Played a bit more Genshin Impact and did the story quest for Sangonomiya Kokomi today. If the Act III quest was a story that started on decent footing and spiraled downward throughout, and the Raiden Shogun story quest was a just single downward minecart track, this quest was a damned rollercoaster.
dirt 4 is so fucking good with a wheel, jealous of your shifter
