The Cage Match, a David Cage fighting game except all of the action is done via QTE button prompts on the screen.
Let him keep making impossible unburbs. I want to play a game that is just wandering around what he thinks a fictional Chicago suburb looks like. I want David Cageās version of the Underground from Us. I want David Cageās Liminal Spaces For Tumblr. I donāt want anyone to ever give him any money to do this, though.
Still Undeadline on MSX2.
Failed again but push the game litter deeper. Now I could beat level 1 to 3.
After I researched on magazines (MSX Magazine from Japan mostly) and youtube, realized different character fits their own weapons: mage likes to fire and ice, ninja is more good at tactics weapons and warrior only depends on strength.
I love the ninja (the only girl in game), she has lots of basic dexterity means move fast and fits to use tactics weapon. But If you cannot collect enough hidden elves in level to update, her damage will be weak.
Anyway, more practice always works, will keep trying
Playing Pokemon Sword and falling into the familiar rhythm of the modern Pokemon game. Though this one seems especially forgiving at least on the early going. Opportunities to heal and rest are very generous and people give you free shit all the time. Items lay thick on the ground!
Hey, itās pretty nice comfort food. The refreshed gym battles with all the Dynamax Kaiju nonsense are a fun bit of spectacle.
Lisbon in Assassins Creed Rogue is one of the better 3D Sonic levels
just abandoned the last of several recent attempts at a new game in Bloodborne, none of which got as far as the first boss
I did my first clear, a 1cc at that, of Missile Dancer tonight. Felt pretty special.
Rad as fuck, play 4 and let werdna have his revenge
the only vengeance in Wizardry IV is that of the developers against a world cruel enough to allow Wizardry IV to exist
You got me, I was being a monster for even suggesting Wizardry IV
D2R: is Diablo 2, but graphics
8/10
Got Axiom Verge 2 today as well, Iām two hours in. So far itās exactly what I expected and wanted: a moderate improvement on Axiom Verge in every respect, which adds up to a really solid game.
The music is equally catchy but less grating. Interesting narrative design at the beginning instead of just dropping you straight into a Norfair clone. The level design avoids hallways and tends to prefer spiral exploration patterns with lots of unlocked shortcuts to reduce dead ends and backtracking.
In the main world, I like how every enemy feels like a āsmart killer robotā: none of them hurt you just by touching them, but instead they need to become aware of you and chase you/target you with weapons that have cooldowns. And the character abilities of melee/weak boomerang/MP-limited hacking amount make every encounter more interesting than the (in retrospect overpowered) gun in the first Axiom Verge.
And I didnāt expect to see the LttP empty bottles/capture fairies healing system here!
I reached the end of the game last night. I found myself playing almost exclusively as the drone. And I like the way Indra gets her body back, culminating in a scene reminiscent of SOMA.
After the game ended, I went around uncovering areas of the map Iād missed. A few spots are set up as little puzzles, on top of having to consider how the two maps overlap.
I didnāt use them, but I noticed that there are Celeste-style accessibility options to make the game easier (or harder).
i finished ff4 (2 us). i think i might need to just come to terms with the fact that i donāt really have the attention span for anythin gother than 8 or 16 bit games these days. even like modern games inspired by that era are kind of exhausting to even think about
itās a shame crime crackersā aesthetic appeal is let down by a lot of bad design desicions. guess i should try the sequel and hope itās better
credit fed thru air gallet this morning, itās sooo pretty. the stage 1 boss sequence - from the approach up - is gorgeous but the city in stage 2 really blew me away. the city feels so layered and the top down tokyo tower parallax is such a flex. shout outs also to the intro, the speech samples, the reflections in the stage 3 boss, and the bare ass in the final boss.
