Games That I Love And Everyone Tells Me I'm Wrong

yeah I remember looking up the dev and finding out that they were korean! I had never even really thought of korean game dev until that game

I’ve considered downloading it since there’s like a free trial or something, but every time I do I read comments about how bad it is and I never bother. I expect by this point it is what it is and probably won’t suddenly transform into a good DW game.

I got it for 11 dollars from a Target clearance rack and consider that a questionable decision at best.

+1

What a terrific experience that one was! Whatever happened to the sequel?

also Microsoft would give you free copies of any of the games they published if you worked at a Gamestop in 2004 if you filled out some surveys online and stuff to prove that you were familiar with and able to recommend the product so I played it that way

Weren’t there two Kingdom Under Fire games?

I believe so but I only played the original

Didn’t the KUF people end up working on 99 Nights with…Tetsuya Mizugchi of all people? 360 Exclusive. Which also got a sequel.

I did that too!

One million troops?

There’s three, two are the strategy games on the OG and then there’s this bizarre action RPG thing on the 360

Also KUF2 exists as a f2p MMO in Korea iirc but I forget if it’s mired in beta or if it went live

That must be what I was thinking about. I just remember something that looked really cool but never came out (over here anyway)

Chrono Trigger is actually pretty good…

I don’t when it’s the steam version. Friends make friends play the DS version or pirate it at this point.

I played some Wario Woods (NES) today, and I just learned that if you play game mode B that there’s a boss every ten levels. And like the bosses all have different designs and different attack patterns.

idk why but i always assumed this game was more of a cute little throwaway title so i guess I’m just surprised at the level of care put into this thing that I never noticed before.

Wario’s catchphrase in Mario Kart 64 (ā€œImma gonna win.ā€) apparently comes from his interstitial dialogue here.

so yeah, i played for 50 rounds on mode B, and I’m probably going to play for 50 more.

I bought a cheapo bootleg copy of KUF in Korea, but then it was like a leaked beta or something and the text alternated between English and Hangul and it was buggy and eventually reached an impassable crashing point so I had to buy a legit copy anyway. Well played, ajeossi.

While I have love for all Striders, I prefer the NES one to the arcade one.

Skyrim is the best open world anthro tigress thief witch sim on the market.

It’s bad but I can make exactly what tiger lady I want.

So it’s good.
