akira psychoball looks FUN wtf i wanna play it…
it’s definitely very unique
Watching this guy play Magical Athlete by himself in a series of 6-athlete races to showcase the game
we played this new edition of magical athlete in my class and some of the kids got magical athlete fever. in their magical athlete-induced mania they were extremely upset when we had to move on to another game ended up buying their own copies even though the school has a bunch they can rent out.
it’s a fun game. we played it at the meetup, wourme, mimeparadox, bachelor and I. it’s surprisingly fun with two players even.
AND GUESS WHO WON
Timestamped to minute 9’40, up until minute 11:
That’s a good point made there that i didn’t notice specifically, but which is def responsible for me loving GX so much.
the best to ever do it
I never noticed until now but in hindsight, I can totally see a straight evolution in absurdity/speed/style in Sega racing games from Daytona USA 2 to F-Zero GX/AX. Like doesn’t this track from Daytona feel like a precursor to the crazy levels in F-Zero??
agreed, that’s GX feeder league level (only because the bizarre speed is missing)
2nd exhibit:
Sonic Transformed, the track that felt most like it was designed by someone who worked on GX to me was Sanctuary Falls (timestamped to minute 57’35)
and that features again some of the design Features mentioned in that prior vid. Wild!
Very @username video concept
I actually really like these videos. She has a pretty open mind about what she encounters (cynical trash and some actually interesting stuff)
me and veronica love this channel. her fucking avatar games playthough video is hilarious AND informative
her tomb raider remastered stream was really cathartic because she ran into all the same problems I did at first. Like when you get stuck in the pool in the tutorial because Lara says to press the action button to climb out but it doesn’t do anything. She got stuck there for so long. That’s really what it’s like to play fuckin Tomb Raider!!!
This was the first of hers I watched. In a sort of post-Retronauts, everyone’s got an encyclopedic or basic knowledge of every game, it’s kinda cool to see someone just grab a bunch of stuff just based on the cover art and give it a go.
I also laughed pretty hard at the part where she cuts away and apologizes for her hands being “extra crusty dusty.”
What’s amazing is that I went and checked what I listed for August 4th and had none of the same games listed (I had Potato Cop listed on the 5th, must have gone up later in the day).
