The title is slightly misleading–they haven’t broken the speedrun record as of this recording–but the glitches are interesting.

So this is “Steal A Brainrot”. You get a base. you buy creatures that are based off AI generated memes and lead them to your base. These brainrot creatures earn you money. You have to lock your base every 70 seconds or someone can come in and steal your Brainrots. Sometimes there’s a blood moon and you can spin a wheel for money. If you get enough money you can “rebirth”. You can also hit other players. You can also spend Robux to open other people’s bases to steal their stuff. This has more concurrent players than every other game on steam.
I really don’t think there’s much to understand. This is like comparing how many people on earth watched Hello Dolly vs some random Subway Surfers + ASMR tiktok. I dont think this offers any commentary on our present moment other than the kids are eating the worst slop possible and deserve better. Every time I look into roblox with an open mind it’s like staring into a filled ashtray. What was I expecting
pathetic couldnt even make this video in the old version
it’s alright if you just hallucinate that it’s the og. the spirit is there. but the character reveal sort of shook me because it looked like a model from any fucking slop porn game on steam. i had to struggle to imagine that there is MS money behind this “remaster” after seeing that.
It’s so bad what the fuck
yeah the uefn developers got permission or some kind of license to use the “steal a brainrot” “IP" from the Roblox developers. it is mostly the same game
i have had two people talk to me in the past couple weeks about watching children cry over steal a brainrot on tiktok like its totally normal
at least when i tell people about the horrible shit i watch i make a sick sad world joke first
honestly one of the better games I played on the c64
I didn’t know the Saturn Java Tea version of VF Kids had a different intro:
Also I’ve never seen a high res version of the Capcom Fighting All-Stars promo before.
maybe imma the only one, but what is a Java Tea version? ![]()
feeling old rn, sorry for askin’ but i have never seen that mentioned anywhere, or my radar has been ignorant for the last 30 years…
No worries, it’s a little obscure. The Java Tea version was a promo demo disk that let you play a few rounds. You can read more here: Java Tea Original Virtua Fighter Kids: It’s tea time! – Kimimi The Game-Eating She-Monster
I mainly know about it because of this screenshot lol
Nothing like refreshing product crosspromotion

that’s such a SEGA thing to do ![]()
dang
I mean it doesn’t look great, but it does seem very Rivals Schools-ish, which is nice. it certainly looks better than the thing we got. kind of a shame
