Watching this stream VOD of these gamers trying to even begin to play Miracle Ropit’s Adventure in 2100 (as part of their Micronics challenge series) and it’s the most entertained I’ve been in awhile. What a gem.

This creator writes his scripts a little too close to the “And then I” style of modern let’s plays with no editing, but the absurd scale of his grotesque buildings make up for it.

I think this is why everyone refused to review this game well, even though the overall impression I and several other people here had of playing it was very positive, you could tell that aspects of it were just made out of spare parts to get something shippable, so if you actually played ubisoft stuff on a regular basis it was extremely underwhelming

I don’t think that was about the seams per se, there just wasn’t a lot to say about it other than “this is surprisingly pleasant.” it was a solid entertainment product, I probably put more time into it than anything else at its budget level this year
I hate this delighted surprise about “entertainment products” being totally serviceable. It’s a personal issue, but like, I find it so annoying lol. I’m sure the inverse looks like disconnected haterism or something equally uninteresting, but ugh!!!

i read this out of context and my brain immediately decided you were talking about Super Mario Wonder because this game really seems to be my latest embodiment of ever-present for a week to non-existent i don’t hear anyone talk about it now
