I too have dreamt of a warzone photographer game
game of all time
bring in daph’s other preferred fps feature and have pointman piss himself after using slo-mo powers
gotta drink jolt cola to recharge slo-mo
playing hl2…
the first time headcrabs and zombies popped up I got the shakes. very player-involved game. I have too much anxiety to keep playing atm.
silent hill 4 is the best fps
tbh this is honestly how I feel tbh honestly
i wasnt even kidding i love minigames
me too
finally, ~agreement~
How did you handle the defanged pet comedy headcrab
I dabble in other things sometimes to try to fool myself that I am erudite and well rounded but honestly the only games I ever want to play are FPSes, Myst clones and some idealized Tomb Raider no one will ever make
desensitized considering I knew it was coming but the enemy headcrabs scare the shit out of me
this thread went from a weird pit fight to wonderful aka the history of selectbutton in 195 posts
Bait, dodge & whack. Gotta conserve that ammo
never said it was hard! just anxiety inducing!
Use the rhythm to calm your frazzled nerves. Soothe yourself to the tune of whack
as i was reading this my brain replaced “whack” with the source sound of hitting a crate with a crowbar
YOU GET IT
every third sentence from you is ‘what is that’ i cannot stand by this falsehood youve posted
i do relate though, i try to pretend that every game genre has potential value to me, but in reality there are only a few genres of games i really love. im okay with that
Getting old has Delphic qualities. I’ve really liked getting to know myself the past 10 years or so. It’s a very secure and calming feeling. Ironically, the more specifically you can dig into yourself the more you can kill your ego and let shit go
i like to specialize and then meet tons of other specialists that i can use as memory banks and combine brain power to do absolutely nothing useful, like talk about fpses from a decade and a half ago
im most excited because i have actually played games in the FIRST PERSON SHOOTER genre this time, and can contribute to discussion more meaningfully
