Ok I’m in octagonia and enjoying this a fair bit but as expected I’m constantly underleveled and these arena fights really aren’t very interesting, but of course the balance has been so good on tougher monsters that I don’t want to turn it off

it is very easy to put down for a little while and pick back up again though

OctagonIs is was a low point for me, but it’s also the only place in the game that had a two-phase fight where I died so much it just eventually started me on the second phase. I never figured out why.

yeah this arena fight against my two future party members is the worst

I already had to go level up in tockington to pass the two prior battles but I don’t think I have any options I’m not already availing myself of here

for hero I built straight Greatsword, getting only the Strength and Attack skills

–this is really like, the best option for hero, especially late game

also you can re-spec at save points for gold, just in case you didn’t already know that

there are a lot of interestingly designed spaces in this game, like this building which contains a single table, a bard, and a wizard
