Disappointed this wasn’t a stealth Quake thing, but then I was relieved after I thought about that a little. Doesn’t look much different than Eternal, which, say what you will, at least had a distinct identity from its previous sequel.
this South of the Midnight game looks like something someone made up during a fever dream, including the (intentionally?) really choppy framerate during the cutscenes
oh boy, another remake. gotta remake every game anyone liked on the PS2.

Eternal was really unaccountably and bizarrely worse than 2016, and modern id tech games (2016, wolfenstein) were really good for a few years there until they killed their own hype, so I’m glad they’re trying again

Xbox stream has been more gamery red meat than the Summer Game Fest stream, even though it is pretty much all existing IP fashioned awkwardly into various different forms
I mean, this is pretty on point for both the franchise and D4
that mech game and the new Indiana Jones game both looked alright. maybe the reports of AAA game death have been greatly exaggerated
