i thought they were fine, about B- as far as these streams go. i just think games are fucked as an industry. lol. obviously all most of these people are about are mad about not enough having big gamer IPs coming up though.
I think I played a demo of this some time back (either that or it is biting another game something fierce) and it was fine? It is very point & click adventure game as even in said demo I hit a puzzle that required that sort of very specific “must do each of these things in a specific order” deal that always arises in them, but otherwise was solid enough.
My main takeaway from the day is that I was right to go “fuck you I’m not picking up Alan Wake II until it has a physical release”.
the Future of Play Direct also happened before that which i missed, with the vtuber lady host. i honestly can’t tell the difference between a lot of these shows
i will say that the other streams i’ve seen so far did seem lighter on “”“”“cozy”“”“”" games than the previous few years
just chiming in to register my disappointment and acceptance with the rumored Gravity Rush 2 remaster being completely absent from all shows thus far, despite always being attached to rumors that were correct
it’s fine, GR fans are used to disappointment
anyway, announce it Sony, I’ll buy that garbage again. then I’ll go see the movie after posting hundreds of pages of being angry about the actress playing Kat not being brown enough. feed me slop, thank you sir.
i’m rewatching the streams from today i missed on mute and this monster blowing chunks in this otherwise cutesy small business food truck owner game is so funny
honestly the Latin American Games stream has been the best stream in terms of % of things i’m actually interested in. still plenty of stuff that looks like everything else but def a bit of a higher hit rate. i think a lot of it is just because there’s stuff appearing on this stream that wouldn’t appear on any other kind of stream normally
Been trying to keep up during down time but cursory glances through YouTube trailer thumbnails make it very hard to tell what might be interesting. Nothing seems to be capturing people’s attention or forming a geist of the zeit. I thought Abyss X Zero stood out even though it has derivative elements and i think was announced prior.
absolutely, yeah. i will throw random things that look vaguely interesting on my steam wishlist just in case there is something there worthwhile (because otherwise i will forget about it) but so much stuff blends together completely. which has been a problem with these streams since the beginning, and def cheapens a lot of shit.
also i threw Abyss X Zero on my wishlist just for the well-rendered pixelly 3d anime ladies because it looks well executed at least. and also think very self serious games with giant boob ladies are really funny
