Power Rangers (unexpectedly) and fighting game stuff was what registered most for me.
Probably wont catch Devolver either but hope it at least has one good joke
I liked that Deer and Boy game, Monster Hunter, and a few other games looked neat.
also: alan wake 2 stuff might get me to playing alan wake
i had to tap out of the Day of the Devs stream last year, so we’ll see how long i last this year.
also this stream’s audio seems to be weirdly hiccuping a lot which it wasn’t before
Demon Spore and The Big Catch still look really good, I dunno if they were part of this presentation but there’s new trailers out
the Slitterhead game looked okay to me if only for the flesh gun, also the Power Rangers game looked cool. Project C i already vaguely knew about but am curious about it. dunno if i’m even enough into wholesome game tropes to be into an ironic “subversive” version. otherwise stream was kind of whatever for me, which it usually is.

whenever i hear “iam8bit” i think back to like 2012 when i was at GDC and they had these giant refrigerator magnets you could rearrange to say gamer things, which ofc a group of us rearranged to make fun of stuff. someone put: “iam8bit love life - extremely preposterous” and now that has never left my head. my favorite of mine was “social family shooter” - a new genre yet to be discovered. and then of course someone in our group stole a handful of the magnets, lol.

pseudo sequel to might and magic: clash of heroes is tempting for a Gamer who played a lot of that and the remaster for some reason.

i feel honestly bummed for all those Haunted PS1 devs when people with actual resources start cribbing their style.
afaik this developer has not made games of this style at all before

Day of the Devs stream is a bit less cringey for me to watch than last year. i think we finally passed peak Wholesome
this one looks kinda neat
a demo was actually submitted to IGF this past year when i was judging, but i never ended up playing it

all their streams usually are from my experience
i guess the Lynchian/Alan Resnick sort of sketch wasn’t the worst idea for one of these. pretty sure i had heard of mos if not all of these games before/they were announced in other things though.
