One last chance.

@dementia and @captainlove

It’s showing up ad $4.79 without any code to me though.

sold out :frowning:

oh my god it’s actually sold out everywhere, I guess the people are thirsty for anime

Mankind knew they cannot change society. So instead of reflecting on themselves, they blamed the Beasts.

why aren’t any of these betas ever on PC, fuck you japan

anyway is that really not supposed to be K9999? or is there some kind of lore thing where it is him, just different

edit: oh it actually is him, i see

Persona 4 Ultimax ver. 2.5 is getting ported to PS4, Switch, and Steam. This is the latest arcade revision too, newer than the PS3 game.

No mention of rollback yet though.

I really need to give this game a proper try! Have other people played it? Who’s a good character to get into? (I guess Ryu and Chun lol)

Everyone loves a passionate trailer voiceover guy, right?

I’ll play it

Have some DNF Duel phase 2:

The silhouettes are apparently 1st awakening forms of Dragon Knight, Vanguard, Kunoichi and 50-50 chance between Crusader and Avenger. Also a beta test for next weekend, same time as KOF XV.

(Also there’s a rather redundant trailer for Daddy Hitman alone)

I don’t know why the fuck they decided to do the beta on the same days as KOF. And of course neither is on PC either

Finally got a cheap BlazBlue key though, so I’ve been messing around in that. The rollback works! what more can you really say? don’t seem to be too many other noobs playing though. I at least got to fuck around with an irl friend for a few hours. maybe we could do an sb lobby if anyone else wants to try to pick the game up

I think a lot of the newbies are hiding in the ranked queue because it’s easier to stumble across other ones there than it is to sift through a dozen lobbies

I’ve been playing people from marina’s fighting game discord for the past few days (yes I bought a dumb $200 refurb office PC just to play this)

I imagine DNF beta was scheduled long before SNK decided to do a second beta test so soon. To be honest, I don’t feel like DNF Duel is a great representation of just how chaotic and large scale DFO combat is, and I wish the art style was a bit more evocative of the source material. Ironically, I think UMvC3 would be a better model for adapting DFO (Eighting is working on this game in some capacity, but it does not look like a Marvel game so far).

I haven’t messed around with it in a while, but I imagine at this point the characters from the initial release are probably the most simple in terms of concept. I’d imagine the DLC characters have gradually grown in complexity to give long time players new things to play with. I particularly liked Kat Mynx, who’s like your multi-hit claw-based character like Darkstalkers’ Felicia. I recall Lord Drakkon being pretty easy and fun too. Looks like the release characters would be:

  • Tommy Oliver
  • Jason Lee Scott
  • Gia Moran
  • Ranger Slayer
  • Kat Manx
  • Magna Defender
  • Lord Drakkon
  • Goldar
  • Mastodon Sentry

So these people:

Thanks for the info, Drem! It’s really impressive to see how much the game has shaped up since its initial release!

Between this and grappler I think I’m set for my main.

There’s also been trailers for Dragon Knight and Vanguard, final character (at least of this batch) should drop in a couple hours.

Edit:

Rollback and movelist, too:

nothing better than joining a NOOBS ONLY room in bbcf and getting instantly double perfected by some 1k match naoto who hits me with a 6k damage combo on round start. not that I can get out of the corner vs literally anyone anyway

After the already unusual cycle of daily short character trailers, now there’s a new short DNF tutorial every couple hours, adressing such opaque topics as hit points:
