have purchased next level racing wheel stand 2.0. $250, very sturdy feeling, more than enough for my t150 setup, with office chair and esp with dinner chair. lets me play on the big screen TV which lets me triple in game FOV - much better for cornering, I tell ya what! can actually see where Iâm going. my girlfriend was stressing about the space it would take up but it tucks under my gaming desk almost as well as desk mounting the wheel. Just gotta figure out the best portability solution to slide it around on carpet, the feet arenât ideal for that. maybe some casters. but yeah def happy I got this before upgrading anything else
^^ old setup, imagine this but wheel is mounted on the metal plate of the wheel stand, that sticks out past the desk edge but not further than the doorjamb. I drag it out in front of the TV for gaming
so yeah, next Iâll upgrade the pedals when the budget allows. but already feels like night and day
Welll, the US of all Aâs likes em trucks a lot, OK, but seriously?
Like, how about banning kids from walking around, they could be running into grown ups?
Nobody (welllll, Trump aside) would fall for such a stupid argument
it annoys me how much of the horizon car list is just fuckhuge pickup trucks and âââoff roadâââ bullshit. anyway
been messing with my assetto corsa settings trying to get my view feeling more natural⌠coming from flight sims itâs crazy how little you can see in most driving sims by default. âlock view to horizonâ in the content manager goes some way to fixing it, but i hear tell there are more realistic options⌠need to fiddle.
the good thing is that between the wheel stand 2.0 and playing on the bigscreen TV itâs all very immersive
yeah! theyâre not even fun to drive, like is there anything more annoying than driving this squishy suspension Toyota Coal Roller Pickup up a massive slidey dirt hill bleeding all your speed going 20 mph while some AI in a dune buggy blows by you. why are they trying to make the game unfun
no more Isotta Prosciutto/Rigatoni/Franchitti/you-name-it jokes whenever it is mentioned or being lapped
the steep competitione in the WEC has taken its toll, wouldnât be surprised if one major OEM pulls the plug after the end of this year (still early imho) or after LM next year (more realistic, because if you didnât register as a blip after two years, boardroom will be angry and heads will roll).
meanwhile iâm over here expecting hyundai to drop WRC after next year leaving rally as a Toyota only sport (and whoever will buy their way onto the M-Sport roster)
Even the japanese trailer only mentions TXR1-TXR3. No mention of Import Tuner Challenge. Hopefully that means theyâre establishing that itâll be in line with the PS2 games.
